New Tools! and Serendipty!

I had been thinking about replacing my drills for about a year and had been waiting for a price drop on the new Milwaukee M18 FUEL set as my 10 year old milwaukee drill batteries inched toward death. I was working out in Aurora helping  a friend run electrical in his new wood barn when I stopped at the Platt Electric in Wilsonville for supplies. Lo and behold, they - of all places - had the most incredible deal. Regularly $399 on sale for $350 with a trade-in offer for an extra $100 of brought this king of drills down to a paltry $250!

Finally! I couldn't believe it and the very next day returned with my worthless Hilti set (dead batteries) and traded it in towards the deal of the year.

This was a most serendipitous moment, as I generally never go to Platt Electric, but it was the closest supplier to the jobsite. So there you go - look where you never look and you shall find.
